A day out at the 2018 Alfa Romeo Portsea Polo

When I think of polo I think of horses charging around a field. I think of flowing summer dresses paired with wedges and I think of Prince Harry. Unfortunately the sixth in line to the British throne wasn’t at this year’s Alfa Romeo Portsea Polo but plenty of Australia’s familiar faces were there to soak up the party like atmosphere around the polo field.

The divine Asher Keddie, aka Nina on Offspring, was certainly a highlight among the crowd in the Alfa Romeo marquee. I swear she smiled at me so I’ll take that. Plus former AFL No.1 draft pick Paddy McCartin was all to happy to have a chat about his side’s premiership chances this September. FYI he rates the Saints as being up there.

In typical cliché style, I must say the rain didn’t dampen our spirits and I caught a good three-five minutes of actual polo action. Until next year Portsea xx
