Let’s get clinical at Clinica Lase

I wrote this post three years ago following my first visit to Clinica Lase. I can happily say I’m a Clinica Lase regular and my skin has vastly improved since my initial consultation in 2015. – When it comes to the relationship I share with my skin I can say it’s mostly fraught with frustration. It feels like forever ago since I set out to achieve a flawless complexion, probably from my mid to late teenage years, and my search continues as a 24-year-old today. Recently I’ve taken some significant steps forward after discovering the lovely ladies at Clinica Lase.…

2016 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix

A look back at my first Australian Grand Prix experience in 2016. – This year marked my first ever visit to The Formula 1® Rolex Australia Grand Prix. I’ve previously watched on TV but had never had the privilege of seeing the sport live. But boy was I missing out! On Saturday, Jason and I were treated to a day in the Paddock Club which saw us in the thick of all the action above pit lane. We also had the opportunity to take a stroll past all the team garages as the RAAF Jet rumbled overhead. We watched qualifying…

2016 Tour Down Under

Adelaide’s annual Tour Down Under is without doubt one of my favourite weeks on the calendar. I always love going back home for a visit but this is one occasion in particular that simply can’t be missed. The six-day world tour cycling event brings out the best in my home state with the race reaching iconic regions such as the Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale. I’ve listed all the important details from our trip as well as included all my best photos from our Adelaide getaway below. Rundle St is one of my favourite streets in Adelaide with a wide…

The best game of Big Bash ever

A look back over arguably the best game in Big Bash history, a 2015/2016 New Year’s thriller at Adelaide Oval. – Guys, newsflash, there was a pretty epic game of Big Bash cricket on at Adelaide Oval last night. Say what? Yes, cricket and epic can go in the same sentence together.  There’s no better word to describe the Adelaide Strikers thrilling win over the Sydney Sixers as Travis Head knocked six after six to snatch victory for the home side. The batsman smashed a stunning 56 runs from his last 15 balls and produced one of the most memorable…

The men of BBL: Meet Nic Maddinson

I caught up with cricketer Nic Maddison ahead of the 2015/2016 Big Bash League. – They don’t get more stylish in the Big Bash League than Nic Maddinson. The Sydney Sixer is not only known for smashing runs on the field but also off it for his suave sense of style. I’m not sure I’ve seen a 26-year-old carry off a cane (bottom left photo) as well as Maddinson aside from AFL Brownlow medalist Nat Fyfe, but let’s be frank that’s some good company. So what makes this talented cricketer tick off the pitch? I caught up with the top-order batsman…

Travel Diary: New Zealand, South Island

We spent a week touring the South Island of New Zealand. From Christchurch to Lake Wanaka, Queenstown, Dunedin and then back to Christchurch in 2014. We saw the most picturesque scenery, had once-in-a-lifetime experiences and enjoyed the most delicious food and drinks along the way. Most importantly though, I shared these wonderful experiences with my boyfriend and my brother. I honestly can’t talk New Zealand up enough. I loved it, in fact we all did and we’d go back in a heartbeat. But for now I’ll let my photos do the talking. The beautiful blue of Rakaia Gorge The perfect pitstop…
